Property Description

This project represented the first phase of the transformation of Broadway Plaza, a 45,000-square-foot neighborhood shopping center located in Chicago's Uptown community. The redevelopment included the conversion of approximately 29,000 square feet into a new Burlington retail store, helping to reposition the center as a modern retail destination along the busy Broadway Avenue corridor. The work involved extensive renovations, including the demolition and reconstruction of the building's exterior façade, along with significant structural, mechanical, electrical, and architectural modifications. These improvements created a completely reimagined Burlington store while also establishing approximately 12,000 square feet of additional retail space for future tenants. Through careful planning and coordination, DCS successfully transformed an aging retail center into an updated and revitalized commercial property that enhanced both the appearance and marketability of the development. *This particular project was completed through prior professional affiliations and presented to demonstrate the depth of our team’s individual experience and expertise.
